St. John Fisher College and Nazareth College are partnering to present a fun-filled event to raise money for the kids at the Golisano Children’s Hospital.
The Winter Walk for Strong Kids takes place on February 6 on the Nazareth College campus. The event features a short kid-friendly walk around campus with indoor and outdoor activities for the whole family including face painting, snowman building, crafts, a dance party with Sandy Strong (hospital mascot) and more.
Registration and activities begin at 9:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 11:00 a.m. Activities will continue until 1:00 p.m. This event is open to the public and is free for all participants who raise a minimum of $10 in pledges.

The Winter Walk for Strong Kids is another way to raise money as part of the annual Battle of the Beaks competition –a friendly competition at the Fisher/Nazareth basketball games which takes place on Tuesday, January 26 and Tuesday, February 16.
