GAME ONE: The St. John Fisher College softball team
dropped a 7-0 game to the Maryville College Saints. The Saints got the bats rolling in the third inning, when they brought in two runs, and kept it going from there. For Fisher,
Samantha Vara went 2-for-3, including a bomb to left field in the first inning.
Jenn Vanek recorded a Fisher’s only other hit of the game, singling through the left side.
GAME TWO: Fisher
dropped an 8-1 decision to Division I competitor William Penn. Freshman
Kayla Goodberlet went 2-for-3 at bat, bringing in Fisher's solo run of the game.
Fisher faces off against Neumann first thing tomorrow morning, 9 a.m.
