Men's Basketball Flies Past the Hawks

The St. John Fisher College men’s basketball team cruised to a 73-59 victory over the visiting Hartwick College Hawks. With the win the Cardinals remain unbeaten in conference play at 9-0 and improved to 15-3 overall.
 
Michael Wopperer and Jordan Gettings paced Fisher, scoring 15 points apiece. Wopperer led the Cardinals in rebounding as well, finishing with eight boards. The sophomore Gettings led Fisher with four assists. Matt Newman aided in the easy win with 12 points and four steals.
 
Every player that received time on the court for Fisher finished with four points or more, shooting 52.9% as a team from the field.
 
Fisher will return to action on Tuesday when it hosts East-Ave rival Nazareth at 8 p.m.

The men's basketball team erupts for 101 points and wins 101-65 over visiting SUNY Oswego.  The Cardinals led 47-26 at the half and 10 different players scored in the win with Rudy Rivera's 25 points leading the way.
