Men's Soccer Tie the Red Dragons

Alex Salter’s lone goal helped St. John Fisher College earn a 1-1 tie with SUNY Cortland in the opening game of the Flower City Classic at the University of Rochester on Saturday afternoon.

Salter received a short pass from senior forward Luke Lennox in the 73^rd minute to give the Cardinals a 1-0 advantage. With under three minutes remaining, Cortland’s Harald Gracholski beat goalie Adam Durst (2 saves) for the equalizer.

The Cardinals take on SUNY Oswego on Monday September 7^th at 12 pm in the final game of the Flower City Classic.

The men's basketball team moves to 19-0 with a 87-76 win at R.I.T. The Cardinals knocked down 10 3-pointers in the win, including seven in the first half. Mike McGee scored 20 points in the win, while Nick Bennett added 19 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals.
