Women's Golf Tied for Second After First Day at William Smith Invitational

Shannon Nolan shot a 101 on the first day at the William Smith Tournament.
The St. John Fisher College women's golf team stands tied at second after the first day of competition at the William Smith Tournament.  The women are tied with a team score of 402 with Ithaca.  Nazareth leads the tournament.

Alex Battle is currently tied for first place with Nazareth's Michelle Van Slyke.  Battle shot an 86 today.  Shannon Nolan shot a 101, followed by Katelyn Touhey with a 106.  Katie Joslyn totaled a 109 on the day, while Katie Fandrich recorded a 116.

The Cardinals return to action tomorrow.

The men's basketball team erupts for 101 points and wins 101-65 over visiting SUNY Oswego.  The Cardinals led 47-26 at the half and 10 different players scored in the win with Rudy Rivera's 25 points leading the way.
