Women's Tennis Improves to 4-3 With Win Over Brockport

Catalano picked up a point at third singles for the Cardinals.
The St. John Fisher College women’s tennis team defeated non-conference opponent Brockport 6-3 today. The women improve to 4-3 on the season.

Fisher opened the match with a sweep of the doubles. Laura Hale and Elena Vahl pushed their record to 5-1 with their win at first.

The Cardinals picked up wins at the first three singles sports. Hale saw a close victory at first (7-6, 7-6), while Vahl remains undefeated with her 6-1, 6-0 win at second singles. Katie Catalano saw her second singles win of the season with a 6-3, 6-1 victory at third.

The women take a break as a team, as Fisher sends Hale and Vahl to compete at the ITA’s this weekend in Geneva.

The men's basketball team erupts for 101 points and wins 101-65 over visiting SUNY Oswego.  The Cardinals led 47-26 at the half and 10 different players scored in the win with Rudy Rivera's 25 points leading the way.
