Bob Ward, St. John Fisher College's director of intercollegiate athletics, is featured in this month's
Athletic Management magazine. In the article, "The Right Direction?", Ward and four other athletic administrators from NCAA institutions, discuss ethical behavior and how it relates to the recruitment of student-athletes. During his 22-year tenure, Ward has helped Fisher emerge as one of the nation's leaders in sportsmanship and ethics. Last year, The Committee on Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct (CSEC) announced that Fisher's baseball team had been named the national 2008 NCAA Sportsmanship Male Award winner for Division I, II and III.
