After Thursday night’s opening round action of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, the Duke Blue Devils have
finally accomplished something St. John Fisher College has done on more than one occasion – beat SUNY Binghamton.
Fisher owns a 2-2 all-time record against SUNY Binghamton, who won the America East Conference and was the No. 15 seed in the East Region in this year’s tourney,
including a 94-91 win over the Bearcats less than 11 years ago. The Cardinals shot 14-for-29 from 3-point range in that game.
Fisher has played eight schools that have advanced to NCAA Division I Tournament in its storied 46-year history.
