Senior forward
Luke Lennox of the St. John Fisher College men’s soccer team has been named to the NCAA Division III East Region all-star team for men's soccer. The team was selected by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Lennox, a second-team selection, led Fisher with eight goals and seven assists during his senior campaign. A three-time All-Empire 8 selection, he guided the Cardinals to a 2-0 win over Elmira in the ECAC Upstate New York championship game with both goals scored.
Lennox led the Cardinals this season in points (23), shots on goal (16), and penalty kicks converted (2). Over his three-year career at Fisher, he totaled 32 goals and 18 assists for 82 points.
A native of Pittsford, N.Y., Lennox was named as the Most Outstanding Player of the ECAC Tournament. Honored as the Empire 8 Player of the Year in 2007, he was named to the NSCAA New York All Region Team.
A Biology and Psychology major with a concentration in pre-medicine, Lennox has maintained a perfect 4.0 G.P.A. throughout his four years at Fisher. He will continue on to the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences after graduating from Fisher.
