The St. John Fisher College women's volleyball team allowed the University of Rochester to snap their 11-match winning streak on Tuesday night, but it wasn't without a fight. The Cardinals battled in what turned out to be
a 25-21, 25-21, 25-23 barn-burner.
Elaina Braun led the team with 25 assists, while also smashing seven kills and picking up seven digs.
Laura Schwach tallied eight kills, while
Sydney Kandefer recorded seven.
Jenna Rath led the team in digs with 13.
Fisher returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Hoboken, NJ to take on host Stevens in the Empire 8 Championship Semifinal.
