The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team guaranteed themselves a spot in the Empire 8 Championship tournament with
a 1-0 win over Elmira.
Andrew McIntosh went one-on-one with the goalkeeper and put one past him in the 45th minute off a pass from
Bryan Canty. The goal ended up being the only tally of the game, leading now-fourth seeded Fisher into the Empire 8 semifinal on Friday. The Cardinals will take on host Nazareth at 2 p.m. on Friday to kick off the tournament.
