Volleyball Extends Win-Streak to Nine Matches

Seniors Waldron and Braun were honored before Thursday's match.
The St. John Fisher College women's volleyball team extended its win-streak to nine games with a decisive 3-0 victory over visiting Buffalo State on senior night at Manning & Napier Varsity Gym Thursday night.  Seniors Elaina Braun and Jenna Waldron were honored before playing in the last home match of their career.  Braun went on to tally a team-high 28 assists, while Waldron upped her newly-set College record by 12 digs to 1,930 digs in her career. Brittany Rowan recorded ten kills, while Sydney Kandefer put away seven. The Cardinals travel to Keuka College for the last tri-match of the season this weekend.

The men's basketball team erupts for 101 points and wins 101-65 over visiting SUNY Oswego.  The Cardinals led 47-26 at the half and 10 different players scored in the win with Rudy Rivera's 25 points leading the way.
