The St. John Fisher men’s lacrosse team will look to continue its hot start to the 2010 season when it plays host to Clarkson at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The Cardinals, who have opened up with three straight wins, are playing their first game at Growney Stadium this year and are hoping to put on a good showing against the Golden Knights, who opened their season 0-2 so far.

The St. John Fisher women’s lacrosse team is hoping that a trip to Schenectady will change its current misfortunes as it looks to win its first game of the year against No. 14 Union at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Cardinals started the season with two nail-biting finishes against nationally ranked teams: a loss to Roanoke in overtime and to Mary Washington by just one.

A goal from Kyle Denhoff 12 seconds into overtime broke a 9-9 tie and pushed Fisher to a 10-9 victory over host Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa.

With the win, Fisher improves to 3-0 on the season.
